1. This Open Invitation to Tender Notice (AAOO) follows the general procurement notice for the project published in the daily Fraternité Matin No 15402 of April 11, 2016 and on the Bank`s portal (www.afdb.org).
2. The Association of African Electricity Companies (ASEA) has received funding from the African Development Bank (AfDB) to cover the cost of the African Network of Centers of Excellence in Electricity (RACEE), and intends allocate part of the proceeds of this financing to payments relating to the acquisition of equipment for the upgrading and support for the expansion of the reception capacities of the RACEE Centers of Excellence and Training, divided into six (6 ) lots.
3. The RACEE Coordination Unit invites, by this Open Call for Tenders, the bidders admitted to compete to submit their bids in a sealed envelope, for the supply of:
Lot 5: A smart grid laboratory and a SCADA laboratory for the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) of Egypt.

The open invitation to tender will be carried out in accordance with the Rules and Procedures for the procurement of goods and works from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and particularly in one step.
4.
