32. INDIA MARK 2 TOOL KIT AND MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE: PROVIDE AND SUPPLY THE FOLLOWING TOOLS AND MATERIALS
a) Hacksaw (with spare blades) for cutting top rod or riser pipes,
b) Flat file for metal for deburring sharp edges and chamfering prior to threading,
c) Pipe wrenches (2 off) for fastening or opening GI riser pipe threads,
d) Hammer (300 grams) for fitting or replacing ball bearings,
e) Lifting spanner (2 off) for lifting riser pipes during installation and retrieval,
f) Connecting rod clamp A2443 for fixation of pump rods during installation and retrieval,
g) Connecting tool B2420 for secure installation and retrieval of pump rods,
h) Pipe clamp A2470 for connecting riser pipes during installation and retrieval,
i) Bearing mounting A2478 for preparing pump head with ball bearings,
j) Chain support C2476 for lifting rising main for attachment of chain to pump handle,
k) Axle punch C2477 for dismantling pump head (dismantling handle axle),
l) Spanner 17* mm (2 off) for fastening or opening M10 bolts and nuts,
m) Spanner 19* mm (2 off) for fastening or opening M12 bolts and nuts,
n) Wire brush for cleaning threads from sand and dust,
o) Heavy duty grease for greasing the chain,

• Drilling additives used
• Drilling diameter(s) – where different diameters used, depths (from & to m.b.g.l.) must be provided for each diameter
