Quotation are invited for Service to Rebuild Vermont Pool
The American Embassy Accra Ghana kindly requires the contractor to renovate/ rebuild swimming Pool at one of their residence compound located within Cantonments, Accra. The contractor shall perform all specified work required for the renovation, supply of materials, labor, and installation.
In case of differences between small and large-scale drawings, the latter will govern. Where a portion of the work is drawn in detail and the remainder of the work is indicated in outline, the parts drawn in detail shall apply also to all other portions of the work.
Scope of Work and General Specifications:
- Contractor shall Provide Needed Materials, Equipment, Tools and Labor for Renovate the
Swimming Pool. Chiseling All Old Lose Concrete Plaster Away on Wall/ Floor Surface and Sand
Sharp Edges Where Plaster has been Removed to Make Re- Concreting /Plastering Easier. Also,
Constructor shall Drain All Water out the Pool, Using Approve Material. Estimated Wall/ Floor
Partition to be Chiseled is about 5, 098 Meters Square. Actual Measurement shall be Taken during
Site Visit.
- Contractor shall Remove and Replace All Light/ Plumbing Fixtures to Avoid Any Damage. All
Damage Cause by the Contractor Employee will be at the Contractor Own Expense. Contractor shall
Cut out Any Cracks and Repair All Pool Leaks/ Cracks, Using Approved Components.
- Contractor shall Apply Approve Acid to Wash over Surface, Using an Acid Brush to Spread it
Effectively to Ensure Conducive Surface to Accepting New Concreting and Plastering.
- Contractor shall Apply Install Standing Rebars and Approve Ratio Mixed Concrete Plaster on
Wall/Floor Surface, Ensuring Proper Repair of Leaks and Other Damages. Every Stage of Work shall
Be Inspect and Approve by the Fm, Contracting Officer, (Co) or Contracting Officer
Representative (Cor)
- the Renovation shall be Designed in Such a Way as to Allow Safe Circulation of Pedestrians
In the Area. The Contracting Officer shall Approve Location in Which Material and Equipment will
Be Kept.
- Contractor shall Remove All Debris, Broken Electrical Fixtures, Water Piping, and Covering
The Area (Grass) with the Approved Plaster Sheeting before Work Commences to Ensure Safety of
Personnel and Maintain the Integrity of the Property.
- Contractors are to Take Their Own Measurements for the Works during the Site Visit or at a
Prearranged Appointment. (Remember, Very Measurement in this Document is Just an Estimate,
Actual Measurement shall be Taken by the Contractor during Site Visit Appointment.
B.06. Compound
- Contractor shall Keep Compound Clean and Free from Safety Hazard. [Specific Location to
Place Materials and Tools and Measurements will be Identified during Site Visit, Subject to
Co/Cor Approval.]
- Contractor will be only Permitted to Compound by Rso Approval or Otherwise Specified
By Contracting Officer. Contractor shall Always Clear/ Clean All Debris on Compound
