The United Nations Multidimensional IntegratedStabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) intends to establish contract(s) for the collection, removal, recycling, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous products originating from written-off equipment and assets, as well as waste generated from repair, maintenance, construction, and other operations. Given the salvage value of these products, MINUSCA plans to dispose them through sales contracts to ensure their safe recycling and disposal by the contractor(s).MINUSCA generates various types and quantities of used items from its operations and is obligated todispose of them in accordance with the UN Financial Regulations and Rules, as well as the UN Environmental Policy, to ensure compliance with established regulations, policies, and best practices for waste management.
