Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment of a Firm or Group of Consultants for Data Collection and Development of the Energy Information System in Niger (SIE - Niger).

1- The Government of Niger has obtained financing from the African Development Bank Group (ADB) to cover the cost of the Urban, Peri-Urban and Rural Electrification Project (PEPERN), which it has surrendered to NIGELEC . Part of this funding is intended to be used to make payments under the Consultant Services contract for data collection and development of the Nigerian Energy Information System (SIE - Niger).

2- The Consultant's services consist of:

Ø review the data collection tools;

Ø carry out a survey on the consumption of domestic energies;

Ø carry out a survey on petroleum product fraud carry out specific studies on the energy consumption of industries and services;

Ø strengthen the capacities of the members of the SIE-Niger team in the definition of energy indicators to monitor the priorities of the national energy policy and in the prospective energy analysis;
