Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment of the Coordinator, the Procurement Specialist (SPM) and the Administrative and Financial Manager (RAF) of the Rural Electrification and Access to Electricity Project Management Unit in the Underserved Regions of Cameroon (PERACE)
The Rural Electrification and Access to Electricity Project in Underserved Regions in Cameroon (PERACE) aims to increase access to electricity for populations in underserved regions of Cameroon, an increase in the national rate of access to electricity of 7.46% by 2025.
The direct beneficiaries of the project are current and future electricity consumers, including the poor, who do not have access to electricity due to the lack of distribution networks in rural areas and because of the high initial connection costs. The project will also provide targeted capacity building support for stakeholders involved in the implementation of the project.
The indirect beneficiaries of the Project are not only electricity consumers, but also the entire underserved population. This will be done through job creation and improved prospects for shared prosperity in Cameroon. Improving access to electricity is a key element needed to generate income and jobs, as well as to promote the productive use of electricity in rural areas.
