The Government of the Republic of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the costof Eastern Electricity Highway Projectand intends to apply part of the proceeds toward paymentsunder the contract for purchase ofahelicopter. 2. Kenya Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd now invites sealed bids fromeligible bidders for Supply of Twin Engine Helicopter 3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Biddingprocedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loansand IDA Creditsinterest. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain furtherinformation from Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limitedand inspect the bidding documentsduring office hours from 0900 to 1600 hours, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays at the address given below. 5.
