Tenders are invited for Provision of One Special Capability Jack up Rig for Hp/Ht Drilling and Workover Operations


The Following services will be subcontracted to Nigerian vendors:
a) Provision of managed pressure drilling (MPD) service
b) Provision of AGO
c) Rig inspection services
d) Certification and inspection of lifting equipment and temporary pipework
e) Catering services

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK
Scope of work requires the provision of a one special capability jack up drilling and
workover rig operation service to support high pressure, high temperature (HP/HT)
drilling, completions and well testing operations.
The rig is expected to have the following minimum technical specifications:
1. Constructed not more than 10 years ago (Condition survey shall be performed
on rigs above lOyears old by independent contractor)
2. Minimum variable deck load (VDL) rating: 4, 500 - 8, 000 klbs
3. Depth rating of 25, 000ft with 5-1/2" Drill Pipe.
4. Drawworks capacity of minimum 3000HP
5. Jackup system with 250ft minimum leg length availoble below hull
6. Transit water draft: 16ft; min/max operating water depth: 60ft/l 30ft
7. Three mud pumps each rated 2200HF) 7, 500psi WP
8. 3 x 45MT SWL cranes to API 2C specifications
9. Helicopter landing deck: Rated for S-92 helicopter)!2.8MT) CAP 437 compliant
with refuelling capability
10. Cantilever system: Minimum skidding distance 60ft x 12ft x 12ft with min load
rating of 2, 500klbs
11. Hookload capacity of 1, 500, 000lbs
12. Accommodation for 120 persons minimum (with catering services)
13. Top Drive System (TDS) with the following ratings capacity, 750T, 15000psi WF)
minimum continuous output torque of 62, 000 ft-lbs and preferably AC driven with
Z-torque stick-slip mitigation system or equivalent
14. Solids control package consisting cuttings drier, centrifuge and augers with feed
copocity of 35MT/hr
16. Minimum storage capacities:
a. mud tank capacity of 3, 500bbl (with agitators) for active mud system;
b drill water of 2.000bbl;
c. potable water of 4, 000bbl with 1500gol/day water maker
d. Fuel of 2, 500bbl
17. Well control equipment must meet the requirements of API 16A for new
equipment and API 16AR for repaired/ remanufactured equipment. All flow-wetted
pressure control equipment must have valid certificates of conformance from OEM.
a. 13-5/8" (minimum bore) 15, 000psi WP Class 5 BOP surface stack.
b. 20 3/4“ 3000psi WP Class 2 BOP surface stack.
c. 4-1/16 x 3-1/16" x 15, 000psi WP choke manifold.
d. 49 1/2" 500psi WP diverter.
18. Sewage treatment system (Red Fox or equivalent - Capacity 120 persons)
19. Domestic waste evacuation package
20. Solids control equipment including 4 x shale shakers, 1 x mud cleaner, 1 x
centrifuge
21. 400MT vertical capacity 600mm stroke conductor tensioning system
22. Managed Pressure Drilling spread with rotating circulating device (RCD) and
ancillary surface equipment copoble
of delivering 1, 500psi of surface pressure while drilling.
23. Drilling Contractor and rig crew with demonstrable knowledge of HP/HT
drilling operations
24. Mud cooler (optional)
