Expression of Interest are invited for Provision of Consultancy Services for Survey on Electronic Terrain and Obstacle Data (eTOD) in Area 2 and Area 3 at Julius Nyerere, Kilimanjaro and Abeid Amani Karume International Airports.
purpose of this project is to provide eTOD necessary to;

a. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) with forward looking terrain

avoidance function

b. Minimum Safe Altitude Warning (MSAW) system

c. Determination of contingency procedures for use in the event of an

emergency during a missed approach or take-off

d. Aircraft operating limitations analysis

e. Instrument Procedure Design (including circling procedure)

f. Determination of en-route “drift down” procedures and en-route

emergency landing location

g. Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (ASMGCS)

h. Transition from AIS to AIM (Aeronautical chart production and on-board

databases)

i. Flight Simulator

j. Unmanned Aerodromes Synthetic Vision and

k. Aerodrome/Heliport obstacle restriction and removal .
