Description : The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified companies for the Provision of consultancy for the C5ISR programme to UNSOS. UNSOS is currently assisting AMISOM and all supporting UN entities to improve situational awareness, shared information management, and joint analysis and decision-making. Therefore, UNSOS requires an all-partner C5ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) programme to establish an effective, proactive, accurate and timely picture of the AMISOM`s theatre of operations for battlefield commanders. The C5ISR program aims to develop the people, processes and relevant technologies to provide real time and near real time information for any operation, whether land, sea, air and even cyberspace as well as social media. It should help improve command and control so that battlefield commanders and decision makers could efficiently apply resources, prioritize missions, and, at the tactical level, automate various watch-stander tasks. Detailed requirements and specifications will be provided in the Tender document to be issued at a later date. The successful Contractor will enter into a four-month contract with UNSOS...
