Guinea, a West African country with immense agricultural, fishing and forestry resources, is still struggling to transform this natural potential into a real lever for sustainable economic development. Its industrial fabric remains embryonic, largely focused on the export of raw products, with low added value, limited competitiveness and difficult access to financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This reality not only slows down the industrialization of the country, but also the creation of stable and decent jobs, in particular for young people and women. It is in this context that the TRANSFORM program falls, a joint initiative of the Government of Guinea and the European Union, implemented by the Center of International Trade (ITC). This ambitious program, funded by the European Union, aims to support SMEs involved in processing activities in agricultural, forestry and fisheries value chains, known as industrial gazelles with a view to facilitating their access to financing under suitable conditions.
