ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible, interested firms must provide the following:
(i) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(ii) Evidence of Current Tax Clearance for the last three years valid till 31st Dec., 2019.
(iii) Evidence of Current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st Dec., 2019.
(iv) Company’s Three years Audited Account (2018, 2017 & 2016) dully stamped by registered auditor.
(v) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till Dec., 2019.
(vi) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till Dec., 2019.
(vii) Evidence of registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR.) expiring 31st January, 2020 or valid certificate issued by Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
(viii) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of Awards, Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificates and Photographs of the projects.
(ix) Company profile with curriculum Vitae of Key staff, including their Academic/professional qualifications.
(x) Sworn Affidavits indicating that:
• None of the Directors of the company have been convicted in any country for criminal offence related to fraudulent or corrupt practices, or criminal misrepresentation or falsification of facts relating to any matter.
• No officer of the relevant committee of the relevant committees of the Nasarawa State Polytechnic or Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that ail information presented in this bid are true and correct in all particulars.
• The firm is not in receivership, insolvent or bankrupt
(xi) Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of reference letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria, including willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed.
(xii) Transmission of bid document must be accompanied with a covering/ forwarding letter on firm’s letterhead paper bearing the firm RC number, Contact Address, Phone number and e-mail address; the letterhead must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the firm at the bottom of the page, dully signed by the authorized officer of the firm.

3. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender documents containing all specifications are obtainable from the office of The Registrar, Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia, on presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) only, payable to the Nasarawa State Polytechnic account at United Bank for Africa (UBA) Account No. 1002016062.

4. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Bidders are to submit bid for the lot in, two (2) hard copies of the technical and financial Bids with softcopy of the financial bid only in MS Excel format, packaged separately in sealed envelopes and clearly marked “Technical Bid” or “Financial Bid”. Thereafter put the two sealed envelopes together in a bigger sealed envelope addressed to The Registrar, Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia and clearly marked with the name of the Project and the Lot Number. The reverse of the sealed envelope should carry the name, address and phone number of the bidder and it should be dropped in the designated Tender Box at the office of the Registrar, Nasarawa State Polytechnic Lafia, not later than 12:00 noon on Monday, 13 January, 2020.

5. CLOSING AND OPENING OF BIDS
• Bid submission closes at 12:00 noon on Monday, 13 January, 2020 and the Technical Bids shall be opened immediately afterwards at the Board Room New Administrative block, Engineering Complex, Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia, in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
• Only firms who’s Technical Bids fulfill the minimum requirements will have their Financial Bids opened at a later date. Disqualified bidders shall have their Financial Bids returned un-opened.

6. PLEASE NOTE:
(i) Late submissions will be returned un-opened
(ii) The Nasarawa State Polytechnic is not bound to award to the lowest or any tender and reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever.
