Tenders are invited for Preparation of the Mankayane Town Planning Scheme
Summary of Scope of Work

The Scope of Work shall ensure that all the above-mentioned, ‘issues to be addressed-, are actually addressed, hence, the consultant shall make it a point that the following activities mentioned below

are attended, but not limited to:

 Continuous consultations with the client for any verification.

 Review of all national, regional and local relevant documents guiding and promoting development growth of Mankayane urban area i.e. Manzini Regional Physical Development Plan, etc

 Do a comprehensive SWOT analyses for the Mankayane urban area,

focusing on physiographic, economic, social, institutional and environmental aspects of the urban area.

 The extensive use of Geographic System Information (GIS) in the revision of the Town Planning Scheme is to provide a systematic database on the town and the mapping of thematic issues like land use, demographic analysis, location of services and other utilities.

 The consultant will be required to train relevant officers on how to update zoning maps, etc, using relevant software.

 Review and make recommendations on the processes involved for: special consent, rezoning, subdivision, consolidation etc.
