Tenders are invited for Power Transmission Line between the Dam and Kandadji Niamey.
The Republic of Niger has obtained two loans for a total of four -vingt- three million eight hundred thousand dollars of the United States of America (US $ 83.8 million) in the form of "Ijara Services" and "Istisna`a" of the Islamic Development Bank to finance the construction Project a double circuit transmission line of electrical energy between Niamey and Kandadji dam.
This project aims to secure the power supply of Niger, through the supply of approximately 600 GWh of clean energy, renewable, low cost of the river region, the country`s main consumption center.The project will also contribute to reducing the cost of the national electricity production.
The project includes the following components:
- Construction of the high voltage line 132 kV Double dull, between the dam Kandadji and Niamey (high voltage post Gorou Banda)
- Strengthening the existing position of Gorou Banda through the installation of new transformers (132/66 kV - 1x63 MVA and 1x30 MVA - 132 kV / 20 kV)
- the realization of two spans 132 kV lines,
- completion of two spans 66 kV,
- equipment of the second circuit Gorou Banda online - Right Bank
- support to management unit
- consultancy services (project management)
- the financial audit.
Acquisitions of property and work will be carried out in accordance with Guidelines for Procurement funded by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 edition revised in February 2012).Consultancy services will be procured in accordance with the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under projects funded by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 edition revised in February 2012).
