Modernization of the infrastructure of the video studio in the multimedia laboratory at the Amberg location The aim of the project is to renew and modernize the media technology equipment of a multifunctional event room in the form of a studio laboratory East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden. The East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden (OTH Amberg-Weiden) was founded in 1994 and is one of the younger technical universities in Bavaria. Currently at the university are a total of 4, 185 students enrolled at the two locations in Amberg and Weiden (as of summer semester 2025). The OTH Amberg-Weiden pursues an overarching concept of practice-oriented teaching and research. The video studio advertised here is the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Media and Computer Science (EMI) assigned to the Amberg location. The faculty offers a wide range of study programs, including bachelor's programs in electrical and information technology, geoinformatics and land management, Engineering education, artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0 computer science as well as the media study programs in media information technology and media production and media technology. The EMI faculty also supervises 159 students in six master's programs: Applied Research in Engineering Sciences, Educational Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence for Industrial Applications, IT and Automation as well as Media Technology and Media Production.
