ITC is seeking experienced provider(s) to implement business surveys on obstacles to services trade in Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Sao Tome and Principe jointly referred to as Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) countries.Potential suppliers with proven experience in the implementation of representative company-level surveys, experience in and knowledge of ECCAS countries, and with a strong commitment to professional standards and strict confidentiality are invited to express their interest. The goal of the business surveys is to systematically capture business perceptions on burdensome trade regulations and related obstacles at a very detailed level. The survey on obstacles to services trade is based on a pre-defined methodology and questionnaire developed by ITC. In terms of sector coverage, the survey focuses on three service clusters (Transport and logistics, Travel and tourism and Information and communication technology (ICT). Surveys are to be conducted by local interviewers and shall be representative by sector and country. This assignment will include: (a) identification of an adequate business/export register for the sample definition; (b) contacting and interviewing companies based on a pre-defined methodology and questionnaire, including face-to-face interviews; (c) data compilation and submission.
