Description of the Assignment:The assignment will focus on strengthening the operationalization layer of the taxonomy, ensuring that the EGFT is supported by clear application guidelines, verification approaches, and practical tools that enable financial institutions, regulators, and policymakers to classify, assess, and report on green economic activities in a transparent and auditable manner. This includes the development of activity-level criteria, evidence requirements, reporting templates, and supervisory guidance to support consistent interpretation and application of the taxonomy.Ensure that the EGFT can be effectively utilized by the CBE within its regulatory and supervisory mandate, while also being accessible and usable by financial service providers and other stakeholders in the market. The assignment will therefore place strong emphasis on developing tools and frameworks that are both technically robust and practically applicable within Eswatini-s institutional and market context.Strengthen the institutional capacity and readiness across key stakeholders, including the Central Bank of Eswatini, financial sector regulators, financial service providers, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs.
