Service description point 3.4. Scope of services for individual components LOT 1 - Fixed services: Image editing: procurement and checking of images, videos and raw film material, keywording and entering the material into the database. The procurement This is partly done via the member associations of the DRK as well as via third parties (external image databases/image services). Research and rights clearance are part of this task. Answering inquiries from the association and third parties (e.g. textbook publishers, Film productions) that require images or film material from or about the Red Cross. Customer service and handling of all correspondence, issuing approvals in coordination with the specialist department. Administration of the media database: system maintenance, User management, training and user support (including hotline), maintenance of the database, advice on the conceptual further development of the system with a view to additional pools. Currently used database: Easydb Version 5.93.3. Experience with the Easy DB database is desired. Transition and migration to a new database system in 2026 is being considered. Accompaniment of the process and experience with new DAM systems are desirable. Image rights and media management: clarification of rights and licenses, Revision of contracts and terms of use, cooperation with agencies, publishers and production companies.
