GENERAL AWARD NOTICE _ AGPM Country Name: CAMEROON Project Name: Mt Mbappit Rural Development Project (Phase II) Sector: Agriculture and Rural Development Project Code: pCMR0143 Cameroon has obtained US $ 30.53 million in the form of Ordinary Loan, ISFD Loan and Istisna`a from the Islamic Development Bank to finance the Rural Development Project. Mbappit (Phase II) Project ObjectivesThe overall objective of the project is to improve the living conditions of the rural populations of the Noun Department. The specific objectives are: (i) to improve agricultural production and productivity and value-added; and (ii) improve the provision of socio-economic services and access tosteps. The project will comprise the following components: (a) Component 1: Improvement of agricultural production and productivity; (b) Component 2: Improved value added and market access; (c) Component 3: Support to rural infrastructure; (d) Component 4: Support to theproject management. The purchases of Goods and Works will be made in accordance with the Guidelines for Procurement issued by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 edition revised in February 2012). The consultant services will be awarded in accordance withGuidelines for the Use of Consultants in Projects Financed by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 edition revised in February 2012). Property Markets: Procurement of agricultural machinery and equipment for processing plantss agricultural products will be carried out by International Restricted Bidding to IDB Member Countries (ICB / MC) while procurement of vehicles and motorbikes for the Project Management Unit (PMU) and cooperatives agricultural products will be carried out by Nationalal Open (NCB). Procurement of office supplies and equipment will be contracted by National Shopping. Works Marches: Procurement of 450 ha of lowlands, construction of irrigation canals in 300 ha of basementfunds, construction of 08 agricultural processing factories, construction of social infrastructure (7 health centers, 11 blocks of 3 classrooms director`s office 2 latrine blocks in 11 schools, 42 boreholes) and rehabilitation of 200 Km of slopes of desseIt will be carried out by National Open Bidding (NCB).
