Project N 2CD-0099 Chad hasobtained from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) a loan of eighty-six million euros (€ 86, 000, 000) in the form of Istisna`a financing to finance the cost of the project for the construction of the Bol-RigRig road Section Bol-Liwa 85 km long. Project objective: The project aims at ameliSustainable development of the level of service of the Trans-Saharan Highway by the construction of a bitumen section approximately 138 km long with two (2) sections: ? Section 1: Bol-Liwa 85 km long concerned by the present review and ? Section 2: Liwa-RigRig 53 km long will be funded bya credit provided for in the general budget of the State of Chad. The project will contribute to the achievement of the objectives set by the Government of Chad in the development of transport infrastructure namely the reduction of time and cost of transport on this priority network which contributes to thethe country`s internal and external isolation and regional integration, vectors of the country`s economic development and hence of poverty reduction. Project components: 1) Civil Engineering Works; 2) Control and supervision of works; 3) Project Management Unit; 4) Auditaccounts. The procurement will be done in accordance with the directives and conditions of acquisition of the goods and services of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). The acquisition of the consultancy will follow the same directives and conditions governing the financing granted.s by the Islamic Development Bank (2009).
