DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH (hereinafter referred to as DFS) operates instrument landing systems (hereinafter ILS) at all international airports in Germany as part of its sovereign mandate of air traffic control. These are regularly managed on the basis of lifecycle managementdiligently renewed. The old technical shelters and the antenna structures on the glide path and on the landing course, their power and data connections as well as their traffic areas will first be dismantled according to local needs and condition and then replaced with new components and put into operation.

The aThe framework agreement to be concluded for general planning and object monitoring services for instrument landing systems based on the HOAI takes place without a call-off obligation. The first two ILS systems will be permanently commissioned. The plan is to replace up to three existing ILS systems per yearf Basis of lifecycle management. Basically, all international airports in Germany are affected. During the contract term including the option, the renewal of up to 15 ILS systems is planned, e.g. E.g. in Frankfurt, Munich, Hanover, Bremen, Hamburg, Dresden, Duesseldorfand Leipzig.
