Tenders are invited for Formulation of a Program of Awareness, Training, Information and Environmental Communication (SFICE) on adaptation of ecosystems and production systems in Upper Guinea.
The objective of this service is to provide technical, strategic, operational and organizational assistance in the design and dissemination of messages in the project area, a participatory environmental education and training (SFICE) program for A participatory and inclusive adaptation of the most vulnerable target groups in the pilot project sites of the project with key messages. These tools should focus on strengthening the resilience of ecosystems and production systems and maintaining the continuous flow of ecosystem services, with effective involvement of each of the categories of actors concerned at regional, prefectural, communal and local levels (At the district level).
Within this mandate, the main expected results are as follows:

• Communication tools on adaptation of ecosystems and production systems including image-based messages are developed;
• Recommendations on the constraints and achievements of the existing training programs as well as the teaching tools are formulated;
• On the basis of local knowledge, a local charter for good management and rehabilitation of ecosystems in the face of climate change is developed in a participatory manner;
• The best strategies for engaging stakeholders and how to implement the SFICE program and valorization of non-timber forest products are defined;
• The most appropriate operational strategy for communication by target group for effective dissemination of the activities needed to achieve the expected outcomes of both project components and integrating gender is available;
• The report of the validation workshop on the formulation of a Program of Awareness, Training, Information and Environmental Communication (SFICE) on adaptation of ecosystems and production systems in Upper Guinea is available.
Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator, the team of experts or the Study / NGO will take on the following specific tasks:
• Design communication tools on adaptation of ecosystems and production systems including messages with appropriate media types in the project area;
• Identify endogenous knowledge of good practices for the sustainable management of biological resources and make concrete proposals to develop a local charter for good ecosystem management;
• Inventory legal texts relating to the sustainable management of natural resources and the environment;
• Identify the training needs of the actors involved in the project (village relays, nature conservationists at village level in the management of village forests, youth, women, hunters, and sedentary and transhumant livestock keepers, Fishermen, foresters, students and teachers, NGOs and other stakeholders) to enhance the resilience of ecosystems and production systems;
• Formulate recommendations on the constraints and achievements of the existing training programs as well as the educational tools;
• Define the best strategies for stakeholder engagement and how to implement the SFICE program (programming, strategic organization of actors, teaching tools, communication channels, exchange visits, popularization of techniques and technologies of use Sustainable use of natural resources and technical roadmaps integrating among other things wood energy saving, prevention and control of bush fires, etc.) and the valorisation of non-timber forest products;
