Within the scope of the GEF Project "Promotion of Investments in Small and Medium- sized Renewable Energy Technologies in the Electricity Sector of Guinea-Bissau", the ECOWAS Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development (UNIDO) and the Government of Guinea Bissau are honored to invite the Public and Private Sectors of Guinea Bissau to submit their application to the Facility for the Promotion of Renewable Energy in Guinea-Bissau .
It is a financing program administered by the ECREEE Secretariat, in coordination with the Ministry of Energy and Industry in Guinea Bissau that provides non-refundable subsidies up to the maximum amount of one hundred thousand US dollars (100, 000 USD), through competitive tenders for projects to promote renewable energy for electricity production.
