ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
PURPOSE

These Terms of Reference (ToRs) are for a firm (Consultant) to develop and implement all aspects of a mixed quantitative/qualitative data collection on occupational sex segregation in Conakry, Guinea.

The primary goal of this consultancy is to collect data to identify the drivers of occupational sex segregation in entrepreneurship and determine key factors that allow women entrepreneurs to shift into more profitable sectors.

This data collection will be conducted in the context of the Women Entrepreneurs and Crossing Over Project in Guinea led by the World Banks Africa Gender Innovation Lab and the WB Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation Global Practice (Henceforth the World Bank research team). The analysis of the data collected will be conducted by the World Bank research team, not the Consultant.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). NOTES

Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification. No debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
