Expression of Interest Are Invited for Consultant to Provide Relocation and Mobility Services for The African Develoment Bank Group.

1. the African Development Bank (“the Bank”) Is a Multilateral Development Finance Institution, Established in 1964 with A Mandate to Further the Economic Development and Social Progress of African Countries - Individually and Collectively. the Bank Currently Has 53 African Member Countries (regional Member Countries-Rm Cs) and 26 Non-African Member Countries (non Rm Cs).

2. the African Development Bank’s Strategy for 2013–2022 as Encapsulated in Its Five Development Priorities, Reflect the Development Agenda for The African Continent.
3. the Bank, Through Its People Strategy Operationalises Its Human Capital Investment and Enhances the Employee Value Proposition for Attracting, Motivating and Retaining Key Talent.
the Objective Is to Position the Bank as The Premier Organisation and Employer of Choice. a Decentralized Structure Has Been Adopted and Places Key Resources and Operations Closer to Clients in Order to Increase the Development Impact and Enhance Delivery. the Bank Has a Headquarter Base Hosted in Abidjan, Cote D’ivoire and Operations in Five Regional Hubs (pretoria, Nairobi, Tunis and Soon in Two Other Cities for Central and Western Regions), and Thirty-Four Member Countries on The Continent and In Japan.
4. the Bank’s Human Resources Department Facilitates Mobility and Relocations of Staff Members and Their Families to The Regional Hubs and Countries Through a Robust Staff Benefits Strategy Aimed at Smooth Transition - Stress-Free Resettlement to Ensure Productivity and Achieve Highest Satisfaction. in This Regard, the Human Resources Department Is Looking for A Partner to Support the Complex in Guiding the Set-Up of A Service Line that Will Assist Staff with Provision of Relocation and Mobility Services.

5. the Scope for This Assignment Will Therefore Include, Scoping out The Activities, Setting up The Service Desks, and Training Identified Staff Within Chhr, to Enable Provision of The Following Services (list Is Not Exhaustive) :

Ü Assistance for Shipment of Personal Effects and Vehicle from Base Country to New Duty Station;
Ü Arrival Assistance/airport Pick-Up at New Duty Country;
Ü Orientation and Provision of Booklet on Key Data on The City;
Ü Assistance in Identifying Temporary Housing;
Ü Look and See Guidance;
Ü House Search;
Ü School Search;
Ü Departure Assistance; and
Ü Scoping of An On-Line Systems for Tracking and Monitoring the Services.

6. the Human Resources Management Department (chhr) Invites Relocation and Mobility
Consultants to Indicate Their Interest in Providing the Above-Described Services. Interested
Eligible Consultants Shall Provide Information on Their Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrating Their Ability to Provide the Services Mentioned Above (documentation,
References for Similar Services, Experience in Comparable Assignments, Etc.). Documented
Evidence of Having Handled These Functions for Other Multilateral Organizations Will Be an
Added Advantage.
7. the Eligibility Criteria for The Consultant:
Ü Must Have Demonstrable and Track Record of Delivering Such Services to Other Global
Organizations
Ü in Line with The Bilingual Requirements of The Bank and The Peculiar Requirements and
Deliverables Expected of This Assignment, Consultants Must Produce Evidence of The Ability
to Work in Both English and French Languages.
Ü Adherence to These Core Values and The Code of Conduct Are Necessary Requirements
for This Job. if There Is Noticed Diversion from These Standards at Any Point in The
Engagement; the Bank Will Severe All Relationship with The Selected Consultant without Any

by Any of These Institutions Should Not Express Interest in The Advertised Assignment.
8. the Estimated Duration of Services for The Initial Assignment Is Eight (8) Months and The
Estimated Starting Date Is 1st May, 2019.
