Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services Enhancing Value Addition in the Groundnut Sector Project.

The Government of the Republic of The Gambia has secured financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) towards the cost of the Enhancing Value Addition in the Groundnut Sector Project. The total project cost is US $30.00 million. The main objective of the Project is to contribute towards the growth of The Gambia’s groundnut sector, thus enhancing its contribution to economic growth, poverty reduction, and economic stability. The specific objective of the Project is to modernize, expand and improve the efficiency of The Gambia Groundnut Corporation (GGC) operations.

The implementing Agency, GAMWORKS, in collaboration with GGC is in the process of short-listing Consultancy Firms interested in providing the following specialist services:

(i) Feasibility Study for GGC’s expansion into refined groundnut oil market; (ii) GGC Organizational Model Review, Business Process Improvement and Business Plan Development

In this regard, prospective Consultants are hereby invited to express their interest in the above assignment, which should include a brief resume of the of the Consultant indicating, inter alia;

(a) Details of the organization and key staff, including demonstration of the availability of appropriate skills among the staff; (b) Details of similar assignments carried out within the past 10 years with their costs; and (c) List of references (Clients) with their addresses and other contact details;

Consultants may express interest in the form of association, validated by either an agreement or a letter of intent for agreement among members of the association (i.e. a joint venture, or sub-consultancy), to enhance their qualification.

Interested consultants may obtain further information on the criteria for evaluation of the EoIs at the address below during office hours, i.e. 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 12 noon on Fridays.
