As part of this support, UNDP Mauritania is seeking national and international consultants to establish a directory of experts in its areas of intervention for consultation missions. The purpose of this Call for expressions of interest is to establish a database of individual consultants in different fields of activity. As needed, pre-selected candidates will be invited to participate in restricted competitive processes in accordance with the rules governing the selection of individual consultants at UNDP.

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
· To hold a university degree at the level of "License" or BAC +3, "Master" or BAC + 4/5 or "Doctorate" or BAC + 8 in Social Sciences, Rural Development, Economics, Management, Development Planning, Law, International Relations, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Environment, Agronomy, Forestry, Agroforestry, Livestock or any area of ??specialization in one of the themes mentioned above.
Experience:
· Provide proof of at least 7 years of practical and confirmed experience in the field for candidates of the Bachelor or BAC +3 level;
· Justify of a practical and confirmed experience of at least 6 years in the field for the candidates of level "Master or BAC + 4/5;
· Justify of a practical and confirmed experience of at least 5 years in the field for the candidates of level "Doctorate" or BAC + 8;
· Have a good knowledge of the problems of the field;
· Previous experience with UNDP or other international organizations in a similar field would be an asset.
languages:
· Essential command of the French language (oral and written);
· Knowledge of English, Arabic, local dialects would be an advantage.
evaluation
The assessment of candidates will focus solely on technical skills. The dossiers will be evaluated on their relevance to the field concerned and on the basis of the following criteria:
· Does the tenderer have the required profile for the chosen field (Diploma) ?? (Exclusive) (/ 20 points)
· Does the tenderer have additional qualifications or diplomas in the field? (/ 10 points)
· Does the tenderer have the required experience for the field (/ 40 points)
· Does the tenderer have experience with the United Nations or other bilateral international partner? (/ 20 points)
· Does the text of motivation / CV attest to a mastered knowledge of languages? (/ 10 points)
Only candidates who have obtained a minimum of 70% of the maximum points of the technical offer will be retained in the roster.
