the World Bank, in collaboration with theMinistry of Industry, Mines, and Energy (MIME), wishes to carry out anenvironmental and social scoping study for a 330 MWp solar project (withtrackers) with 150 MW / 600 MWh battery storage (BESS) in Tunisia in the Bazmasite. The site extends from northwest to southeast on the left bank of the OuedEl Maleh. The connection line will follow the routebetween Bazma and Skhira using a 400 kV transmission line (“the Project”).The World Bank is seeking to recruit a safeguardsconsultancy firm (the "Consultant") to evaluate the safeguardsaspects of the right of way of the transmission line. This analysis will enablethe World Bank to better inform the Tunisian government in the procurement ofsolar parks.
