90 kV double-dyed power line of about 26 km.
• Electrical substation: Engineering, supply of materials and equipment, civil engineering, assembly, testing and
commissioning of a 90 kV substation consisting mainly of two (2) 90 kV line spans, two
(2) transformer spans 90 kV and two (2) transformers 90/33 kV of power 25 MVA each.

1. This invitation to tender follows the general notice of procurement of the project published in the Revue des Marchés Publics of Burkina Faso No. 1973 of January 24, 2017,
and in the weekly Jeune Afrique No. 2924 from the 22nd to the 28th of January 2017.

2. Burkina Faso has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) for the cost of the Extension and Reinforcement of Power Grids Project,
and intends to use part of the funds to make payments to the Bank. contracts for (i) the construction of the 90 kV line between Kossodo and Ziniaré (lot 1),
(ii) the construction of the Ziniaré 90 kV substation and the extension of the Kossodo 90 kV substation (lot 2).

3. SONABEL, the Project Executing Agency, is now inviting eligible bidders to submit their bids for construction work on the
Kossodo-Ziniaré 90 kV Long Distance Link. The construction period is twelve (12) months for lot 1 and fourteen (14) months for lot 2.

4. The bid will be submitted in accordance with international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the Islamic Development
Bank (IDB) Guidelines for Procurement of Assets and Works Under Financing of the Islamic Development Bank (Edition current), and is open to
all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.

5. Interested bidders may obtain additional information and examine the tender documents from the National Electricity Company
of Burkina (SONABEL) at the address below during working hours, from 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 3 pm local time (UTC). A complete set
of tender documents in French can be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written request to the address below and against
payment of a non-refundable amount of Two hundred and fifty thousand ( 250, 000) CFA Francs. The method of payment will be (i) cash or certified check from
from the Headquarters Fund on the 1st floor to the address indicated below, or (ii) by bank transfer to the account N ° BF0740100100000130020196 open to SOCIETE
GENERALE BURKINA FASO on behalf of SOCIETE NATIONALE D`ELECTRICITE DU BURKINA.

6. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of:
- Sixty-Four Million (64, 000, 000) Francs CFA for Lot 1;
- Thirty-Five Million (35, 000, 000) CFA Francs for Lot 2;
and be deposited at the address below no later than October 24, 2019 at 09:00 local time (UTC) and must be clearly marked "Call for tenders for
the construction work of the Kossodo-Ziniaré 90 kV long-distance link".
They will be opened on October 24, 2019 at 09:30 local time (UTC), in the presence of the representatives of the tenderers who wish to attend, in the room
of 4th floor meetings at the headquarters of SONABEL located at 55 Avenue de la Nation. Tenders received after the deadline will be rejected and returned unopened.

7. Candidates will remain bound by their offers for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of submission of tenders.
