E-bus procurement 2028 15 battery-electric (BEV) operated electric low-floor articulated buses “eNG” (length 18 m, 4 doors). The vehicles must be designed to be barrier-free as purely low-floor vehicles in accordance with the applicable legal and normative requirements This includes, in particular, step-free low-floor entry, a folding ramp and designated wheelchair and stroller parking spaces. Under all operational conditions, there is a minimum range of 200 km in Augsburg city traffic ensure. The vehicles must be designed exclusively for depot charging via CCS plugs.
