The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), with the support of the Green Climate Fund (GCF), is implementing the project GCP/RAF/528/GCR “Strengthening Strategic Frameworks & Processes to Access to Climate Finance in Madagascar & Djibouti” in order to strengthen the institutional, technical and strategic frameworks allowing better access to climate finance in Djibouti and Madagascar. This project is jointly implemented with the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development. As part of this Readiness project, a national climate data sharing platform was developed to support climate planning, public policy monitoring and decision-making based on reliable data. However, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD) does not currently have any institutional website to ensure its online presence and redirect users to this platform.
