Tender Details

At the Finger Institute for Building Materials Science at the Bauhaus University Weimar, new types of binders and building materials as well as mechanisms of aging and corrosion are being researched. The spectrum of basic and applied research extends from inorganic systems such as cement and concrete to new types of plastics and additives based on renewable raw materials. As part of the initial equipment of the new laboratory building, the Bauhaus University plans to purchase laboratory balances. The tender includes 12 analytical balances for routine weighing tasks up to 220 g, 2 analytical balances for density determination and extended calculation programs up to 220 g, one analytical balance with a high maximum load (520 g), 3 precision balances up to 6200 g, 5 precision balances up to 20 kg and 5 precision scales up to 36 kg. The scales do not require calibration and do not have to be integrated into a LIMS. The scales are used in our building materials laboratories and must be accurate, robust and durable. Weighing platform and display must withstand temporary contact with alkaline media. The scales should have high linearity and a very low error in the low load range. The exact performance requirements are regulated in the technical LV.
