Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Dark Fiber Installation and termination project.
Your final proposal must be submitted electronically on or before COB September 11 2023 at 16:00 p.m. to [email protected] and copy to [email protected]. The subject of the email should be: PR11936220: Dark Fiber from New CMR to the embassy.
Requirements

2.1 The contractor shall install point to point single mode fiber optic cable from US Embassy

located in haramous to Chief of mission residence located in the plateau de serpent .

estimated distance is seven (7) kilometers .

2.2 Embassy will use their own equipment on both end of the cable, so the contractor should

not install any equipment like router, Media converter or others to might block or interfere

with embassy equipment.

2.3 The Dark fiber should have a minimum of 12 strand fiber of cable .

2.4 Embassy are going to use 4 strand of fiber cable (2 pair ) to connected their various

equipment .

2.5 Spare strand should be available for redundancy .

2.6 Both end of the cable should be terminated inside the embassy Dmarc Room and the CMR

Dmarc room .

2.7 The FOI belongs to the contractor who is responsible for all the maintenances and

emergency repair.

2.8 Embassy will notify the contractor for any issues with the FOI and the contractor should

resolve any issue with FOI within one working day unless is out contractor control.

2.9 The contractor can choose the short and best route for the cable .

2.10 Contractor is responsible for getting all the authorization and approval for the cable

installation.

2.11 Any damage or issues occurred during the installation of the cables will be the

contractor-s responsibility.
