Carpentry work (windows and doors) In Darmstadt's Ludwigshöhviertel, a new residential area for around 3, 100 residents, the conversion and renovation of the former barracks building 4004 into a family center with the integration of a youth center and Rooms for community work and the design of new outdoor spaces are planned. The building is part of the new educational campus of the science city of Darmstadt. In the future, the educational campus will consist of four buildings: The Family center in the south, the former barracks building 4001 (future use unknown) in the west and the new buildings of the Ludwigshöhviertel daycare center and the Ludwigshöhviertel elementary school. The listed building of the Ludwigshöhviertel family center receives new doors and windows as part of a core renovation measure. The installation should be carried out in a one-to-one exchange so that the building is not open to the weather and the openings do not all have to be temporarily closed. The 98 windows of different sizes are to be manufactured as wooden lattice windows (Vienna lattices) under monument protection regulations. They are installed behind the sandstone walls of the individual floors and as dormer windows in the roof area.
