Biocatalyst optimization workstation
A workstation is needed to optimize biocatalysts. Both strains should be tested for specific enzyme activities and enzymes optimized for their activity, substrate spectrum and stability by mutations. The process should be fully automatedThis includes growing / biocatalyst production, cell separation by centrifugation, addition of reagents, buffers and substrates, and analysis by absorbance, fluorescence, or luminescence. Furthermore, the separation of the substrates and products by SPE method should be carried out for a weiterfuehrende analysis by means of z. B. mass spectrometry.
