Tenders are invited for Consulting Services, Economic Development/Fund Management.

Requested Consultant services:

The Consultant shall support IGAD (Intergovernmental Authority on Development) with the implementation of the RMF (Regional Migration Fund - an instrument to improve economic opportunities for migrants, refugees and host communities) and staff the Fund Management Unit (“FMU”). The FMU will prepare and carry out the necessary daily activities of the RMF and will work in close collaboration with the Social Development Division of IGAD. Amongst others, the Consultant will lead the selection process for suitable project locations, be responsible for development of area investment plans and for procurements under the RMF in line with KfW’s procurement guidelines, construction supervision as well as cost monitoring and disbursement management. The Consultant shall also be responsible for updating the Environmental and Social Management Framework and developing project-specific Environmental and Social Impact Assessments / Plans and monitor implementing partners´ compliance with applicable E&S guidelines.
