INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY BUILDING FOR PRIVATE SECTOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The Government of Angola (GoA) has received a loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the implementation of the Institutional Capacity Building for Private Sector Development Project (ICBPSD) and intends to apply part of this loan to payments under the contract for consultancy to carry out the DEVELOPMENT OF TEMPLATES FOR TECHNICAL, ECONOMIC, AND FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY STUDIES FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED SCALE PROJECTS IN ANGOLA.
The services included under this project are (i) develop templates of technical, economic, and financial feasibility studies for small and medium-sized scale projects in selected sectors such as agricultural crop production, livestock and meat, fishery and aquaculture, textile, garment, and footwear production value chain; (ii) Identify investment projects with backward and forward linkages across value chains supported by PRODESI; (iii) Identify the risks associated with such investment projects and strategies to mitigate them; and (iv) Recommendations as to how highly ranked localized supply chains may be incorporated into the project activities.

The Ministry of Economy and Planning now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest
in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
