Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services Relating to the Supervision and Control of Works of Hydro-Agricultural Schemes in the Areas of Ali Sabieh (Beyya Addey Watershed) and Arta (Damerjog, Douda and Deydey Wein) - Rehabilitation Work on the Bouli- Defaineitou Access Road.
The Government of the Republic of Djibouti has received funding from the African Development Bank (AfDB) to cover the cost of the Drought Resilience Program and
Sustainable Livelihoods Development in the Horn of Africa Countries (DRSLP III); and intends to use part of the sums granted under this loan to finance the service contract for the Works Monitoring and Control Mission:
? Landscaping irrigation in areas Ali Sabieh (Watershed Beyya Addey) and Arta (Watersheds Damerjog, Douda and Deydey Wein).
? Rehabilitation work on the Bouli- Defaineitou access road.
? Work of Realization of three (3) boreholes in rural areas in the regions of Arta, Tadjourah and
Dikhil: Wea (Arta), Silalmia (Tadjourah) et Gagade (Dikhil)
Under the supervision of the National Coordinator, the mission of the firm will consist mainly in the Supervision and Control of Works:
1. Landscaping irrigation in areas Ali Sabieh (Watershed Beyya Addey) and Arta (Watersheds Damerjog, Douda and Deydey Wein).
? Rehabilitation and equipment of small irrigated areas;
? Access to drinking water.
2. Rehabilitation work on the Bouli- Defaineitou access road.
? Heavy general earthworks;
? Construction works for hydraulic crossing, retaining and protection structures;
? Installation of signs and equipment.
The Consultant will place particular emphasis on the control and monitoring of road sanitation works and the installation of road safety equipment.
3. Realization of three (3) boreholes with AEP system in rural areas in Arta, Tadjourah and Dikhil regions: Wea (Arta), Silalmia (Tadjourah) and Gagadé (Dikhil).

The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, Fisheries and Livestock in charge of the Halieutic Resources, invites the firms (Consulting Firms) to present their candidacy in order to provide the services described in the Terms of Reference.
