FIRMS SELECTION) SUPPORT FOR CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT OF THE AFRICAN UNION COMMISSION AND OTHER AFRICAN UNION ORGANS PROJECT(P126848)Grant No. IDAH9390 ASSIGNMENT TITLE: CONSULTANCY SERVICES FORSAP BUSINESS PLANNING AND CONSOLIDATION IMPLEMENTATIONSERVICES Reference No.: AUC/CDP/QCBS/09-2015 The African Union Commission has received financing from the World Bank toward thecost of the "Support for Capacity Development of theAfrican Union Commission and Other African Union Organs Project (P126848)", andintends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. Development Objective ofthe Project(P126848): Strengthen African UnionCommission's capacity to facilitate economic development results and transformation through enhanced institutional efficiency. Thiswill be achieved by enhancing the AUC's internal human resources and management systems, and supporting result-oriented externalpartnerships and collective actions designed to enhance the implementation of regional economic development initiatives in priorityareas (e.g. regional trade, energy, infrastructure, governance, natural resource management) for the benefit of African Unionmember states, the Regional Economic Communities and African citizens. Objective of theAssignment The main objective of this TOR is to source for professional consultancy servicefrom a SAPSupport partner or a SAP preferred vendor to provideimplementation services for Business Planning and Consolidationsolution. Scope of the Assignment The services to be rendered by the successful bidder include but not limited to; 1. Project Preparation2. Preparation of a Business Blueprint for the Business Planning and Consolidation module and its integration to the existing SAPfunctionality3. Project Realization in accordance with the approved Business Blueprint4. Final Preparation (including training, authorizations)5. Go-live Support.

The African Union Commission now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") toindicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevantexperience to perform the Services. Theshortlisting criteria are: 1. Core business and years in business2. Qualifications and Specific experiencein the field of the assignment3. Technical and managerial organizationof the firm4. General qualifications and number of key staff The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9of the World Bank'sGuidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans andIDA Creditsiate with other firms in the form of a jointventure or a subconsultancy to enhance their qualifications. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in theConsultant Guidelines.
