Title : Consultancy Service for Baseline Study and Standards and Regulations for Electric Vehicle Charging in Ghana

Tender Description : The Energy Commission, as part of efforts to create responsible and sustainable electricity demand in the country, embarked on a Drive Electric Initiative (DEI) in 2019, in collaboration with the ministry of energy to introduce electric vehicles in Ghana. The DEI is an innovative move by the Commission to:1. Increase electricity demand sustainability to match supply as a way of partially addressing the electricity generation over capacity2. Prevent Ghana from becoming a dumping ground for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles and usher in an era of green and sustainable technology for the future.In view of the above, the Energy Commission is in a search for a consultant with rich experience and knowledge of international best practice to conduct a baseline study with the commission to draft standards and regulations with the help of the Ghana standards authority.
