Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy to Review and Update the “Strategy for the Harmonisation of Statistics in Africa (SHaSA)â€.
Main activities
The revised and updated SHaSA will essentially aim at:
 Defining the role of STATAFRIC in the implementation of SHaSA;
 Defining statistical activities to be undertaken by STATAFRIC and the Pan African Statistical Training Centre;
 Aligning all pertinent strategies and existing reference frameworks with the objectives of the emerging issues in particular Agenda 2063 and Agenda 2030;
 Identifying all relevant stakeholders of statistical development in the continent;
 Establishing a timeline for implementation of the strategy;
 Revising the estimated cost of implementation of the strategy based on the updated SHaSA;
 Taking into account the concept of big data;
 Taking into account the concept of data revolution.
 Undertaking missions to selected countries, RECs/SROs to review progress of implementation of NSDS and the inclusion of Agenda 2063 and Agenda 2030.
