Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Construction of Inter-Linking Water Lines between Gerald Block 1 and 5 in Francistown

Deposit Details: P 500.00/- (Non-refundable)

Closing Date: 10 September 2018 at 10:00 (Local Time)

Site Inspection: A compulsory site visit will take place at 10:00 hours commencing from Francistown Council Main Entrance on Friday, 17 August 2018, where company representatives who shall be members of the proposed personnel for the project are expected to fill their details on the attendance register. Failure to attend and comply will lead to disqualification. Tenderers arriving after 10:00 hours will be disqualified.

Restriction: Pressure testing the entire Block I and CBD water reticulation network. Flushing and disinfection the entire Block I and CBD water reticulation network. Only 100% citizen owned companies registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) in the following category: Grade: A, Code: 03 - Civil Engineering and Sub-Code: 06 - Water Supplies, Sanitation Reticulation and Irrigation Works are eligible to tender. The following Preference Schemes shall be applicable in this tender; Local Procurement Scheme 19(B) of 2013. In order to qualify, bidders shall complete the Local Procurement Registration Certificate. Where applicable the Presidential Directive on Economic Diversification Drive of April, 2010 shall be applied in the evaluation of the tender. The contractor (or supplier as the case may be) is required to abide by the undertakings given in the Guidelines on Economic Diversification Drive - 2010 published by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry. To benefit from EDD preferences, bidders must include certified copies of EDD Certificate.
