Contract forecast notice for Under the contract the aim is to construct a desalination plant in Doraleh for the population of the City of Djibouti (Republic of Djibouti). This contract entails the following tasks:

1. construction of a desalination plant comprising pre-treatment (sand or membrane filter), reverse osmosis, re-mineralisation and disinfection, for an output of 22 500 m3/day in phase 1 (with an option to increase output to 45 000 m3/day in phase 2) with a seawater pumping station of an approximate capacity of 100 000 m3, a pumping station for transferring drinking water to the city's distribution system, a wastewater and sludge treatment plant;

2. seawater suction intake with a subsea pipeline of approximately 800 m and a subsea discharge pipeline of approximately 500 m with a brine dispersion system;
