Request for proposals are invited for Construction of Ablution Facilities at Orapa township
Brief

The objective of this project is to promote public health and improve hygiene at workplace by providing enough ablution facilities at the sewage plant and the following primary schools; Tawana, Bathoen, and Boteti. The contractor is to provide the following services.

• Orapa Sewage Plant - Completion of Ablution Facilities

• Bathoen primary school - Convert a photocopying room into ablutions and extend a classroom block to construct new ablutions.

• Tawana primary school - Convert two storerooms into ablutions.

• Boteti primary school - Construct a new ablution block.

Compulsory site visit

Prospective tenderers are required to attend a Compulsory Pre-BId Meeting in order to get more clarity on the scope of services and the conditions under which the services are to be executed. Tenderers will also have an opportunity to ask questions on the scope of services. The site visit details are as follows;

Date: 2nd March 2023

Time: 08:00 - 11:00 hrs

Venue: Township Maintenance Boardroom

Tenderers are required to ensure completion of the required entry permit application process and to arrange their own transport and accommodation (if required). Tenderers are further expected to wear Personal Protective Equipment (Orange reflective overalls, safety boots, helmets, and safety googles at a minimum). The Site Visit Agenda will start with an EC0H5 and Social Performance Induction at 0800Hrs at Orapa Itekeng Hall.

Debswana has adopted SAP Ariba - an online bidding and supplier management solution for all its tendering and supplier registration requirements. .
