Tenders are invited for Construction of 400m Road with Inter-Locking Bricks at Shakawe Village
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Roads Works Division, Office Nos. B41, B42 & B43, Second Floor, located at Rural Administration Centre (RAC), Gumare. Documents may be collected during working hours, that is, between 0730 hours and 1245 hours and from 1345 hours to 1630 hours on week days from 16th March, 2020.
A non-refundable tender fee of P250.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Pula only) in cash, payable at the Council Revenue Office, will be required before collection of tire Tender Document. Production of a receipt as proof of payment will be required for issuance of document. Youth companies shall only pay PI 25.00 (One Hundred and Twenty-Five Pula only) as per Presidential Directive CAB 14 (B) of 2015 upon proof of eligibility issued and certified by Ministry` of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development. Omang (ID) of Directors to be produced to prove eligibility.

Tender proposals duly completed are to be submitted in one (1) plain sealed envelope clearly marked: “Tender No: NWDC/OK/RDS/020/2020-21 —

A Works Contract for Construction of 400m Road With Interlocking Bricks at Shakawe”, Okavango Sub-District Council and addressed to: Senior Assistant Council Secretary, Okavango Sub-District Council, Private Bag 006, Gumare. Tenderers are to submit three (3) copies, one (1) marked “Original” and two (2) marked “Copy”.

Tender proposals shall be hand-delivered and registered at LAP AD Office No. A21, Ground Floor, RAC Offices, Gumare not later than 0900 hours

A compulsory pre-tender site meeting with representatives ofthe Procuring Department will take place on the 31st March, 2020, starting at 0900 hours. Only people with technical qualifications (minimum of Certificate in Civil/Highway Engineering) should attend the site visit. Prove of such qualifications should be available during the site visit. That is, certified copy of Academic Certificate and original ID copy. The meeting place shall

be in front of Shakawe Police Station at Shakawe. All costs of the site visit including transport costs shall be the responsibility of the tenderer. No person participating in the site visit shall be allowed to represent more than one tenderer. Only tender offers submitted by tenderers who have participated in the site visit will be considered for award of the contract.
