Tenders are invited for Works Contract for the Construction of 375m Road with Inter-Locking Bricks at Gumare Village (Accord).
TENDER OFFERS ARE INVITED from qualified and reputable 100% citizen owned contractors registered in Botswana for the construction of 375 m road with interlocking bricks at Gumare (Accord). Pre-tender estimate for this tender is PI, 653, 000.00 vat inclusive. The Procuring Entity is Civil and Mechanical Services, Roads Works Division, Okavango Sub-District Council. This is an Open Tender. Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board in the following categories: Code: 03, Sub-Code: 01 - Civil Engineering Works (Construction (Roads, Infrastructure, Airfields), Grade: ОС, Code: 14, Sub-Code: 02 - Ancillary Works (Signs), Grade: ОС. This tender is reserved for 100% citizen owned contractors. 15% price preferential treatment for companies owned target group (youth, women and people with disabilities) shall apply. The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Roads Works Division: Office No. B41, B42 and B43, Second Floor, located at Rural Administration Centre (R.A.C), Gumare. A non-refundable tender fee of P2 50.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Pula only) in cash, payable at the Council Revenue Office, will be required before collection of the Tender Document. Production of a receipt as proof of payment will be required for issuance of document. Youth companies shall only pay PI 25.00 (One Hundred and Twenty-Five Pula only) as per Presidential Directive CAB 14 (B) of 2015 upon proof of eligibility issued AND certified by Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development. Omang (ID) of Directors to be produced to prove eligibility. Tender proposals duly completed are to be submitted in one (1) plain sealed envelope clearly marked: `Tender No. A Works Contract for Construction of 375 m Road with Interlocking Bricks at Gumare (Accord)", Okavango Sub-District Council and addressed to:l Senior Assistant Council Secretary, Okavango Sub-District Council, Private Bag 006, Gumare. Tenderers are to submit three (3) copies, one (I) marked "Original" and two (2) marked "Copy". Tender offers shall be hand-delivered and registered at LAP AD Office No. A21, Ground Floor, RAC Offices, Gumare not later than 0900 hours on 15th April 2020.
