Assignment Description
(i) Inception report. The inception report will provide a detailed work plan for the assignment, sources to be used in conducting the work, and lessons learned from similar initiatives undertaken in the past.
(ii) Current level and type of local supply of goods, services and labor to the petroleum sector. This activity will provide an assessment of the current level of local (direct and indirect) supply of goods, services and labor to the petroleum sector, at each segment, sub-segment, and activity of the sector value chain. The analysis will entail an assessment of existing demand, current capability of the local private sector, and regulatory or other factors that have affected their ability to participate in the sector value chain.
(iii) Potential future demand of goods, services and labor to the petroleum sector. This activity will involve the preparation of future scenarios of future demand for goods, services and labor (broken down by value chain segment, sub-segment, and activity) by international petroleum companies, the national oil company, and international service providers over the short, medium and long term.
