The Economic and Infrastructure Bank Hessen (WIBank) acts as an EU-accredited paying agency for agricultural promotion in Hesse. WIBank is part of the Landesbank Hessen - Thuringia (Helaba). The provision and operation of the for Helaba is responsible for the specialized IT systems required to promote agriculture. Helaba has currently outsourced the IT services for agricultural promotion to a general contractor. The contract with this General contractor ends on December 31, 2026. Therefore, the IT services are being put out to tender again. As part of these tenders, there is a change from the current general contractor model to a multi-provider model. The previously central from The services provided by general contractors are divided up and successively advertised in competition across six technically defined lots. The IT systems for agricultural promotion are based on a highly integrated architecture technical and professional dependencies between the six lots.
