Dear bidder, The ILO is looking for a consultant to support, according to a participatory approach, the analysis of the relevance, the conditions of contextualization and the modalities of operationalization of the status of the entrepreneur in Cameroon, in as an instrument of gradual transition from the informal economy to the formal economy. The mission aims to produce a structured analysis of the national context, to identify the main obstacles and levers for implementing the status, as well as to formulate recommendations adapted to the Cameroonian context. The work will focus in particular on the analysis of legal, institutional frameworks and existing systems, the examination of relevant experiences, the identification of support measures and incentive measures likely to promote the adoption of the entrepreneur status, as well as the development of a draft roadmap for its progressive operationalization. It will also include the consolidation of contributions from a national validation workshop. The expected results will make it possible to provide national authorities with operational guidelines for the contextualization and progressive implementation of the entrepreneur status, consistent with the issues of formalization of the informal economy and the realities of the Cameroonian context.
