Assignment Description

The recent change in the Government of Angola (GoA) has placed the country on a path of reforms in several sectors, including the telecommunications sector. There is consensus that the telecommunications sector and more broadly the digital sector could play an important role in the economic recovery and development in Angola. In this light, the GoA has requested technical support from the World Bank to examine different options for restructuring and repositioning Angola Telecom for the future growth and value creation and development of a more inclusive broadband sector. Based on this request the World Bank Group is hereby looking to hire a consulting firm.
